Untitled, 7x1 or 2
Airdate: Oct 31th or Nov 7th, 1999

Some words from your sponsor, first:

I'm putting some of the spoilers for episode 1 (just the most recent ones) on the "episode 2" page because I'm not really sure what kind of episode the season premiere is going to be.  There have been a lot of rumors floating around that episode 1 is going to be the first part of a 2 part MOTW. Personally, I find that extremely hard to swallow. As far as I know, they are only shooting episodes out of order, not airing them in the order they're shooting them. As such, I am putting all spoilers that point to a MOTW as episode 1 on this page. K?  Alright, on with the show:

8.20.99:

From Serena in LA county on SpoilerVille:
I thought I'd "report" what I saw today at the 4135 East Firestone, South Gate location.  Well it seems like the name of the fastfood joint is actually "Lucky Burger" it's looks like a typical dinner. Also it's a child, who has the cannibal tendencies. (I'm not 100% sure about that one - I heard it from the people there!).  The setting is in Orange County, CA specifically Costa Mesa. (The one white police car that said "Costa Mesa PD" stood out from the black South Gate ones.) And that is the end of today. It was kinda boring, and the crew the said the action (w/DD and GA) is being shot next Monday and Tuesday.

From Autumn on the message boards at SpoilerVille:
I'd classify it as Scully lite. She's in it, but limited.

From Elwood Blues on SpoilerVille:
Characters-> Mulder, Scully, Rob Roberts, Dr. Mindy Rinehart, Derwood Spinks, Sylvia, Mr. Rice, Lucy

Nick Lea is in New Zealand filming a movie, and
will not be back until December.  1013 supposedly
made some efforts to bring him back to film an
episode or two, but the film company refused to
release him.  Good for Nick - bad for X-Files.  The
Biogenesis continuation should be interesting, since
they'll presumably have to write around Krycek.

Originally, there was also talk of doing a Krycekcentric
episode as the first episode -- but when Nick got the NZ
movie Vertical Limit, that also went out the window.   This
may account for the delay in shooting (I'm not sure
Gillian was back from filming her movie - one reason for
a Krycekcentric episode would have been to buy more
off-time for DD and GA.)

** From Autumn on the AOL message boards:

First unit shooting was pushed back to August 9.

At this rate they will be wrapping up the season in May rather than April
this year.
